Dynamic variables for PPC affiliates
Right off the bat is the discussion of dynamic variables vs postback tracking. In iGaming, postbacks would be great if they worked all the time but unfortunately this isn't the case. The cons of using postbacks is that the data given back via webhook is rarely real-time and can be anywhere from 1 to 6 hours long. You can get deposit activity but almost never revenue activity which is exactly what you get with dynamic variable tracking.

The pros of postback is you can learn when events are triggered. The cons of this are that you need advanced systems for adspend. Thankfully tools like Voluum and Keitaro are helpful.

Link management tools and integration
Link management tools refer to the means of controlling your affiliate tracking links. These are not the regular default campaigns you see inside the affiliate program backend but rather are parameter based and require a bit of studying and practice to get comfortable with it.
That said, likely more than 50% of affiliate marketers use some type of link management tool. A company like Pretty Links claims to have over 7 million users for example and Thirsty Affiliates has over 430,000 users.

The most common link management tool we see our customers using is with Voluum. They are an advanced link management tool that is normally suited for PPC affiliates but we are seeing more SEO affiliates utilizing these tools as well.
Keitaro integration
Behind Voluum, Keitaro is the 2nd most popular tool that our PPC affiliates use in conjunction with StatsDrone. Keitaro is a powerful app that has very reasonable pricing.
BI notifications
One of the most powerful features of StatsDrone is the notifications and alerts. You can build single alerts that inform you if any KPIs increase or decrease by X% in Y period of time. You can have this as a single alert inside the app or externally this can be built with tools like AWS or even in Tableau, Looker Studio or Power BI.
